Are you a Headteacher/Key Stage Manager/Music Subject Leader?
Are you looking to raise your music profile at your school?
Dots & Squiggles is pleased to offer a range of options for KS1 to schools in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and surrounding areas in the form of:
- Twilight or School Day CPD sessions for Teaching Staff
- Weekly D&S sessions delivered by a D&S instructor
Dots & Squiggles Founder Grace Moore will deliver a 1.5 hour staff CPD workshop after school to upskill teachers and learning assistants. Discover how to deliver formal music lessons for your pupils within their own classroom, in a fun and engaging way, even if they themselves have no musical knowledge! Topics include music notation, rhythm, aural skill and improvisation.
School Day CPD
Dots & Squiggles Founder Grace Moore will attend the school for a single school day, co-teaching with an HLTA, TA or Teacher. Delivering up to six 30 minute sessions across Reception/KS1, Grace will share the Dots & Squiggles methodology and resources. This is ideal for schools who wish to have the same staff member teach music across the school.
Regular D&S sessions
A Dots & Squiggles teacher will visit the school on a weekly basis, delivering up to six class sessions in one school day across Reception/KS1. All games and resources are provided, as well as half termly reports to help inform classroom teachers’ data.
